Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Mansfield, TX
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentist in providing excellent oral healthcare and ensure a smooth patient experience. Duties - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Assist dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take dental x-rays (Pano and FMX) in a timely manner - Sterilize instruments and equipment - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software - Perform basic dental laboratory procedures - Provide chairside assistance for various dental procedures including endodontics and prosthodontics, Requirements - Dental assisting certification or relevant diploma - Proficiency in Dentrix software - Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and anatomy - Familiarity with taking vital signs and patient assessment - Excellent communication skills -Minimum 5 years experience.
