Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered dental assistant to join our team at Majestic Dental in the Woodlands. We are a private-owned modern dental office devoted to delivering exceptional dental care, with outstanding patient experience in a state-of-the-art environment. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic technique and infection control standards. Take digital dental X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Perform dental charting and recordkeeping, including updating patient records with treatment information in compliance of HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health care instructions and post-treatment care. Maintain dental supplies inventory and sterilize instruments according to infection control guidelines. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating medical records as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient service. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Certification or licensing as a Registered Dental Assistant is required or pending licensure approval. Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and team members. Previous experience supporting four-handed dentistry is advantageous.
