Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics and prosthodontics. Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and ready for use. Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection and maintain patient safety. Perform four-handed dentistry by anticipating the needs of the dentist during procedures. Take Dental imaging, including X-rays, as directed by the dentist. Maintain accurate patient records using dental clinic systems. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Requirements Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is essential. Experience with Dental imaging techniques is preferred. Ability to demonstrate aseptic technique in all aspects of patient care. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable. Certification in Dental Assisting , x-rays or equivalent training is preferred.
