Bright White Dental of Fresh Meadows is a busy dental office seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a great position for experienced Dental Assistants looking to work part time. We are hiring for Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:00am-7:30pm. (This position does have the ability to become full-time) The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and proficiency in Dentrix, iTero, Dandy etc.. Responsibilities: Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions, etc.) Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment Disinfect and maintain operatories, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take X-rays Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Assist with the management of patient flow Manage supplies and inventory when needed Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed. Qualifications: 1 year Dental Assisting Required Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Positive attitude, team-oriented, and a compassionate approach with patients Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
