We’re currently seeking a Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our Monarch Dental offices in Central Arkansas , including North Little Rock, Conway, and Hot Springs. This role is ideal for an orthodontic assistant looking for a consistent, part-time schedule with the opportunity to pick up additional hours if desired. Candidates interested in more hours or full-time work may have the opportunity to support general dentistry at other Monarch Dental offices in the surrounding area, based on availability and business needs. Schedule (days/hours): Part-time: 8am - 5pm every other Thursday & every Friday (Full-time availability for those who can support Ortho and General offices) Responsibilities: Assist the Orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort Take and develop dental X-rays as needed Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms Educate patients on post-treatment care, and dental procedures Maintain accurate patient records and update charts Helping solving dental challenges and bettering smiles every day Qualifications: Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License Radiology certification CPR/BLS Previous Ortho Assisting experience Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation: $18 - $20/hr About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
