Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care and treatment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with all health regulations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions. Perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and oral surgeries. Administer anesthesia and manage pain control during procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide optimal patient care. Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training. Skills Proficient in dental terminology and procedures related to general dentistry and specialized fields such as pediatrics and endodontics. Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis. Excellent patient assessment skills to determine appropriate treatment plans. Ability to perform pediatric dentistry with a compassionate approach towards young patients. Familiarity with infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Effective communication skills for educating patients about their oral health. Experience with oral surgery techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
