Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Charlotte, NC
We are a busy, patient-focused dental practice seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and reliable team player who is committed to providing exceptional care for our patients. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures (e.g., restorative, oral surgery). Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control guidelines. Take dental radiographs (X-rays). Welcome and seat patients, making them feel comfortable and informed. Provide patients with post-operative instructions and education on proper oral hygiene. Maintain accurate patient records and chart information. Assist with inventory management and ordering dental supplies. Perform other related administrative duties as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Completion of a state-approved dental assisting program. Current dental X-ray certification. CPR certification is required. 1-2 years of dental assisting experience is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
