Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Houston, TX
We are a private practice seeking a full-time Dental Assistant. We are located in West Houston near Katy. Join our well-established dental practice as a Registered Dental Assistant and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive, fun, and collaborative environment. We seek an organized, detail-oriented professional with at least one year of experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for patient interaction. Dentrix experience is preferred, but training is available for motivated candidates. Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatments, explain procedures, and address concerns to ensure comfort and understanding. Clinical Support: Sterilize instruments, set up exam rooms, assist during procedures (fillings, extractions, X-rays), and take dental impressions. Administrative Duties: Maintain patient records and manage inventory of dental supplies. Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and hygienists to optimize workflow and patient satisfaction Qualifications Certification: Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license. Experience: Minimum 1 year in a clinical setting. Skills: Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach. Excellent verbal/written communication and patient rapport.
