Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform medical imaging as required, ensuring high-quality results. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to effectively assist during various dental procedures. Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and ensure infection control protocols are followed. Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and record keeping. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Prepare treatment rooms by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Support the dental clinic operations by managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance is essential. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Understanding of anatomy relevant to dental procedures is beneficial. Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control measures is required.
