Permanent Dental Assistant Job in San Diego, CA

We are a well-established, patient-centered dental practice in San Diego seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. Position Overview: As an RDA in our office, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the doctor during a wide range of procedures. We are looking for a reliable professional who understands efficient workflow, values patient comfort, and works well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Chairside assisting for general dental procedures (fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, etc.) Preparing treatment rooms and patients for procedures Maintaining strict infection control and sterilization protocols Taking digital X-rays and impressions Assisting with temporary crowns, cementation, and post-op instructions Managing instruments, supplies, and operatory setup/breakdown Supporting the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations Providing excellent customer service and patient education Qualifications: Active California RDA license (required) Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental procedures, materials, and terminology Proficient with digital X-rays and dental software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and chairside manner Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Positive attitude and strong team mindset are a must What We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience Stable schedule and consistent hours Supportive, respectful, and drama-free work environment Opportunity for long-term growth with a quality-focused practice If you are an experienced RDA who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care, we would love to meet you.
