Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, assessing patients' oral health. Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records, including medical history. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain knowledge of dental terminology effectively with patients and the dental team. Work with Eaglesoft software for managing patient records, and documenting treatments. Provide specialized care for pediatric patients while ensuring a comfortable experience for children. Skills Strong documentation review skills to ensure accuracy in patient records. Proficient in aseptic technique to maintain infection control standards. Solid foundation in general dentistry practices and procedures.
