Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Montclair, CA
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our patients' oral health through preventive and educational measures, as well as providing high-quality dental cleanings and treatments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough dental hygiene assessments and screenings. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and treatment plans. Take and develop dental X-rays as required. Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants. Identify and document dental conditions and concerns. Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines. Qualifications: Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. State licensure and certification as a Dental Hygienist. CPR certification (preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent patient education abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
