Permanent Dentist Job in Flushing, NY
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice on Tuesdays/Fridays/possibly alternative Saturdays. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnose and treat dental conditions, and promote oral health and hygiene. This is a part-time position with competitive compensation. Responsibilities: - Perform routine dental examinations and screenings - Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay - Administer anesthetics to patients when necessary - Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software systems - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique in the dental office - Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education Qualifications: - At least 3 years of post residency experience preferred, new graduates welcome - Bilingual Chinese preferred - Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school - Valid state dental license in good standing -Valid DEA for Eprescription - Proven experience as a Dentist - Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and equipment - Proficiency in medical coding and documentation - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills - Ability to work well within a team -DOCTOR'S PARKING SPOT RESERVED We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
