Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved through preventive care and education. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Appointments are scheduled for 1 hour. Co-Discover with patients on the pending dental needs. Assess patients' oral health by reviewing medical records and taking medical histories. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care, particularly in pediatric dentistry. Requirements Valid Texas dental hygiene license. Computer and tech savy Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
