Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals and extractions with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans that address individual needs. Utilize advanced dental technology, Dentrix, and medical imaging tools to diagnose and plan treatments effectively. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records and dental procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term wellness. Collaborate seamlessly with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient flow and comfort. Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing professional development related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialties as needed. Experience Proven experience working as an Associate Dentist within a busy dental clinic or practice setting. Strong proficiency with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Demonstrated expertise in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to oral health, and medical imaging techniques. Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety. Prior experience providing patient care in pediatric settings is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and education. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques.
