Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for dentistry. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols. Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Perform administrative duties, including scheduling appointments and managing front desk tasks as a dental receptionist when required. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory . Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques is essential. Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required. A willingness to learn about prosthodontics and other specialized areas of dentistry. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is a plus.
