Our private pediatric dental office is seeking a part-time Front Office Team Member to join our practice. We value efficiency, organization, dependability, and a positive attitude. The successful applicant will have exceptional interpersonal communication skills with both children and adults, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work cohesively as part of a team. We encourage you to check out our Google reviews to get a sense of the type of practice we are: Smile Pediatrics, El Dorado Hills Responsibilities and Duties Welcome patients and families to the practice in a warm and professional manner Act as a liaison between the doctor and patients Manage phone, text, and email correspondence and patient scheduling Communicate recommended treatment plans, including detailed sedation cases Clearly explain financial information and insurance benefits Assist with additional office duties and projects as needed Required Skill Set (willing to train a motivated individual) Proficiency with Dentrix dental software Knowledge of dental insurance coding, billing, and collections Comfort coordinating patient scheduling and explaining treatment plans Prior front office dental experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right motivated individual. Position Details: Part-time position, 3+ days per week Some flexibility with scheduling; specific days will be discussed during the hiring process Office hours: MondayâFriday, 8:30 AMâ5:00 PM No Saturdays REQUIREMENTS OF APPLICATION (Please provide the following) Resume References Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 21 â 25 per week Work Location: In person
