Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Nampa, ID
HIRING BONUS!! $1000 distributed throughout the year! -Pay range DOE and work load. - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Assist the dentist during exams and maintain a sterile working environment - Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic dental systems such as Dentrix Ascend Qualifications: - Valid dental hygiene license in [Idaho] - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Proficiency in using electronic dental systems such as Dentrix Ascend - Knowledge of and insurance billing procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals Note: Experience with specific electronic dental systems (Dentrix Ascend, Epic, Eaglesoft) is preferred but not required. Training will be provided if needed.
