Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Conduct thorough patient assessments, review medical histories, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with best practices. Utilize advanced dental software Dentrix for documentation, treatment planning, and medical records management. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Educate patients on oral health care strategies, preventive measures, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency. Maintain comprehensive medical documentation while complying with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA certification if applicable. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control standards, and dental fabrication processes. Experience with oral surgery procedures including dental extractions, and root canal therapy is highly desirable. Familiarity with dental office management software Dentrix is preferred. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
