Dental Assistant â Full-Time (Experienced Only) Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Experienced Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced, patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and strong proficiency in Eaglesoft . This role offers the opportunity to work in a busy environment where precision, professionalism, and compassion are essential. The successful applicant will support the dentist in delivering top-quality care while ensuring smooth clinic operations and strict adherence to health and safety standards. This is not a training position. We use Eaglesoft onlyâcandidates must be proficient in Eaglesoft. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures, supporting efficient workflow and patient comfort Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and reduce procedure time Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up supplies, and maintaining aseptic technique Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols Take and document dental radiographs (X-rays) and operate dental equipment (including X-ray units and ITERO scanner) Manage patient intake by reviewing medical history, recording vital signs as needed, and updating documentation in compliance with HIPAA Accurately chart treatment, clinical notes, and procedure documentation in Eaglesoft Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment instructions, and the importance of regular dental visits Support patient flow and smooth transitions between appointments to help the day run efficiently Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 100% experienced Dental Assistant (this is not a training position) Proficient in Eaglesoft (charting, notes, treatment flow) Strong clinical assisting skills (chairside, sterilization, room turnover) Excellent time management and multitasking skills; able to adapt when the schedule changes Calm, efficient, and focused in a busy environment Professional demeanor with patients and team members Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely caring Strong team player with a positive, flexible attitude Fast learner who can adapt quickly Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Drama-free mindsetârespect and teamwork are essential Dress code: black scrubs only Hair must be tied up during clinical hours Preferred Qualifications X-ray/radiography certification (not required) Experience assisting different procedures Proficiency operating iTero scanner Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and aseptic techniques What We Value Strong work ethic Team player Drama-free Accountability Clear communication The ability to stay calm, move efficiently, and support the teamâeven when the day runs behind If you thrive in a professional environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and know how to balance fun, efficiency with excellent patient care, weâd love to hear from you.
