Duties Prepare treatment rooms with all necessary instruments and materials, ensuring a sterile environment using aseptic techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays and other medical imaging to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Conduct vital signs assessments and document medical documentation accurately to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, post-treatment care, and infection control practices to promote oral health awareness. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist, managing medical coding for billing purposes, and updating medical records. Qualifications Proven experience working, for at least 1 year, in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental assisting techniques. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members.
