Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as an Orthodontic/Pediatric Dental Assistant! In this energetic role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care to our young patients while assisting our orthodontists and pediatric dentists. Your expertise in chairside assisting and knowledge of dental terminology will be key as you help create beautiful smiles! What youâll do Assist orthodontists and pediatric dentists during various procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take X-rays and perform medical imaging as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control measures and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients. Utilize EMR systems such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft for efficient patient management.
