Responsibilities Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic . Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools, adhering to strict infection control protocols. Provide chairside assistance by managing patient comfort, taking vital signs, and explaining procedures clearly to ensure patient understanding. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support infection control practices by following aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment throughout all procedures. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow as a dental receptionist, and verifying insurance information.
