Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Location: Modesto, California Position Type: Part Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays About Us We are a new and growing general dentistry practice in Modesto, California, committed to providing exceptional dental care to our community. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our dentists and dental team to provide high-quality patient care and maintain efficient clinical operations. Required Qualifications Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license Current CPR certification Minimum 2 years of chairside assisting experience X-ray license certification Knowledge of dental software Strong understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations Infection control and sterilization certification Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist dentist chairside during various dental procedures Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Place and remove temporary restorations Take dental impressions Maintain patient records and charts Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Set up and break down operatories Monitor inventory and maintain supply levels Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Apply topical anesthetic agents Required Skills Excellent chairside manner and patient communication Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Detail-oriented with emphasis on accuracy Team player with positive attitude Proficient in four-handed dentistry Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer proficiency Preferred Skills Experience with digital radiography Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology Bilingual English/Spanish Experience with dental practice management software Familiarity with digital impressions Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Paid time off Paid holidays Continuing education opportunities Uniform allowance Schedule Part Time position Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Join our team as a Dental Assistant where you can make a difference in patients' lives while growing your career in a supportive environment!
