Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Fremont, CA
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. 3 days/week( Monday, Thursday and Friday). Our office is located near to the beautiful Lake Elisabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus. Responsibilities: - Assist dentists with various procedures, including pediatric dental care, ensuring the highest level of patient comfort and safety. -Welcome and seating patients - Monitor vital signs and medical imaging equipment to ensure compliance with infection control protocols. - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations. - Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to strict infection control standards. - Perform tasks as directed by the dentist or hygienist, including sterilizing equipment and preparing treatment rooms. Qualifications: - X-ray certificate required. - Completion of a dental assisting program or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Strong knowledge of dental systems and the ability to quickly learn new technology. - Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to accurately document patient information. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing situations. - Strong communication skills and a patient-centric approach to care. - Commitment to maintaining the highest level of infection control and adhering to all relevant regulations.
