Summary As a Dental Assistant at Stonebrook Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires strong assisting skills and knowledge of dental procedures to help deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures and treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before patient appointments. Take and record patient vital signs as necessary. Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping. Provide support to patients by answering questions and explaining treatment plans. Assist with the management of inventory and supplies in the dental office. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Previous experience as a dental assistant is required. Minimum 2 years of experience required. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix ) is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
