Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for use. Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Record medical documentation accurately, including patient histories and vital signs. Utilize dental software systems such as Epic or Eaglesoft for patient management. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not necessary. Familiarity with 3D scanners and other advanced dental technologies is a plus. Proficient in using dental software systems for efficient practice management. Knowledge of taking vital signs and understanding medical documentation processes is essential.
