We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Compensation: $60 - $64 hourly Responsibilities: Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment Provide post-operative health education to patients so they can take practice good dental care at home after procedures Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in dental hygiene work Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills Current CPR certification Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures About Company Dental office that provides general, cosmetic, and restorative dental care in a modern, comfortable setting.
