Position Overview: As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks to support patient care. You will work alongside our team of dental professionals to provide preventive care, education, and treatment for patients of all ages. Your expertise in dental hygiene will play a key role in ensuring our patients' long-term health and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning of patients' teeth, including scaling, polishing, and debridement. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Assess patients' oral health and provide comprehensive reports to the dentist. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Maintain patient records and update medical, dental history and periodontal charting as required. Apply fluoride treatments and sealants. Assist with sterilization and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment. Coordinate directly with the front desk regarding treatment plans and scheduling. (Preferably schedule patients for recalls.) Stay up to date with the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies. Qualifications: Active state licensure as a Dental Hygienist (RDH). Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. A compassionate, patient-first attitude with an emphasis on high-quality care. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
