Dental Assistant - Jacobson Family Dental - Grand Junction, CO

About us Jacobson Family Dental is a small office with convenient hours that focuses on going above and beyond our patients' expectations. We pride ourselves in the relationships we develop with our patients by providing excellent care and customer service. Working hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, four days a week. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist and hygienists during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures - Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment - Assist with medical documentation and record keeping Requirements: - Dental assisting experience required, certification preferred. - Knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures - Familiarity with Dentrix dental software preferred - Proficiency taking x-rays - Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices - Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care We offer competitive compensation, based on experience, and a benefits package, including retirement plans, and generous paid time off (up to 19 days for a full-time employee).
