Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient treatments. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for medical documentation. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures. Utilize 3D scanners for accurate imaging and impressions when required. Support pediatric patients with a gentle approach to create a comfortable experience. Collaborate with the dental team in general dentistry, endodontics, and other specialized treatments as necessary. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques. Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or general dentistry. Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
