Dental Hygienist - South Shore Dental Group - Braintree, MA

We are searching for a full time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our privately owned practice. Candidate will help us deliver exceptional care in our beautiful new state of the art facility. Our Dental Hygienists will conduct initial patient screenings, provide excellent clinical preventative and periodontal care, as well as advise patients on oral health and preventative options. Candidate must be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages through excellent communication skills. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and experience recognizing oral diseases and anomalies. We also have a position available for a periodontal hygienist who will support our periodontist and generalists by focusing their schedule primary on scaling and periodontal maintenance. Responsibilities Conduct initial oral screenings and check oral health history Perform oral cancer screenings Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis Perform prophylaxis and scalings, as well as other preventative care Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Sterilization of instruments Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Skills Proven experience as Registered Dental Hygienist In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Proven team member Prefer experience in a multi-specialty group setting Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Experience: Dental Hygiene: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist license (Required) Work Location: In person
