Looking for an experienced, well-organized, and punctual dental assistant to work in a small, solo dental practice in the Sugar House neighborhood in Salt Lake City. The assistant needs to be an exceptional multitasker to complete procedures in a two-operatory environment. Responsibilities Set up operatories with appropriate instruments, equipment, materials, etc Prepare patients for treatment Assist dentist with 4-handed dentistry Understand and execute proper sterilization technique Provide oral hygiene and post-operative instructions Be able to chart patient treatment Perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing and full mouth x-rays Order appropriate inventory to keep operatories fully stocked Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Knowledge of dental software (Easy Dental or Dentrix) helpful Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
