Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist in providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared. Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit. Manage patient flow and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for patients. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation. Support the dental team with sterilization of instruments and maintenance of equipment. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus. Knowledge of medical coding, medical records management, and anatomy is beneficial. Experience in pediatrics or endodontics is an advantage but not required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
