Stonebrook Family Dental is seeking a motivated, positive, and dependable full-time Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Expanded Function Dental Assistants (EFDA) are strongly preferred, but not required. We are a modern, patient-focused practice that values teamwork, professionalism, and a strong work culture. We are looking for someone who is teachable, patient, friendly, and eager to learn , with the ability to adapt quickly to new technology and workflows. Position Details Status: Full-time Current Schedule: MondayâThursday, 8:00 AM â 5:00 PM Near-Term Growth: We plan to add Fridays in the near future, which will create scheduling opportunities for: MondayâThursday TuesdayâFriday MondayâFriday Location: Forest Grove, OR Compensation: Competitive and based on experience Benefits: Available for full-time team members (details discussed during interview) Primary Responsibilities Clinical Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize or disinfect instruments Set up trays and materials for dental procedures Assist the dentist during procedures Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs Expose and process dental diagnostic radiographs Take intraoral photographs and digital scans using Dentsply Sirona Primescan (training provided) Fabricate and place temporary restorations Take preliminary impressions and occlusal registrations Pour, trim, and polish study models Fabricate custom impression trays Place matrices, rubber dams, and sealants Assist in management of medical and dental emergencies Provide post-operative instructions Instruct patients on oral hygiene and plaque control Clean and polish removable appliances and teeth Fabricate and fit orthodontic appliances such as retainers, wires, and bands Administrative & Patient Care Duties Seat patients and escort them to check-out Record treatment information accurately in patient records Schedule appointments and coordinate care Enter procedure codes and prepare billing Complete insurance forms and maintain electronic records Order and manage dental supplies and equipment inventory Compliance & Team Support Maintain OSHA and infection control compliance Participate in monthly safety and compliance training Contribute to a positive team environment and support co-workers as needed What Weâre Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor and appearance Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn new systems, equipment, and clinical techniques Commitment to high standards of patient care Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
