Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and team oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This position is vital for delivering high-quality dental services and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures like fillings, root canal. gum extraction and bone grafting and Invisalign Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed Operate dental equipment such as 3D scanners like Itero. Experience with Itero scanners to take scan for Invisalign and night guard a must Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) ensuring proper safety protocols are followed Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation if needed Assist with infection control procedures to prevent cross-contamination Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic environment adheres to safety standards Support pediatric dentistry procedures when applicable, demonstrating familiarity with pediatric-specific protocols Qualifications Proven experience with a minimum of 3 years as a Dental Assistant with procedures like filling ,root canal, extraction, bone grafting, Invisalign a must Ability to used 3D scanner like Itero independently a must Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively; certification in radiography preferred Familiarity with dental specialties including prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry Strong understanding of aseptic technique and sterilization procedures Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics Ability to work efficiently in a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry techniques This comprehensive role offers an engaging opportunity for qualified candidates eager to contribute to excellent patient care while advancing their professional skills within a supportive dental practice environment.
