Now Hiring: Experienced Dental Assistant Dentistry of Tavares is a busy, well-established dental practice in Lake County, FL, seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. Youâll be working alongside two dedicated doctors Dr. Carlos de la Torre and Dr. Isabel Morris in a fast-paced, positive, and patient-centered environment. This role is ideal for an experienced dental assistant who takes pride in strong chairside skills, clear communication, and being an active, reliable partner in patient care. What Weâre Looking For A reliable chairside assistant who works with efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail A true team player who follows clinical protocols and supports treatment plans as directed A calm, confident communicator who helps patients feel comfortable and informed A punctual, coachable professional eager to grow and refine their skills Someone who thrives in a respectful, supportive, and organized practice environment Key Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures Prepare, sterilize, and organize treatment rooms and instruments Take and process dental X-rays and impressions Assist with temporary restorations and digital scanning Educate patients as directed by the dentist Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records Follow all infection control and safety protocols Contribute to a clean, efficient, and positive clinical environment Assist with front office or administrative duties as needed Qualifications Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (per state requirements) Minimum of 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials Proficiency in dental X-rays and infection control standards Familiarity with HIPAA and patient records management Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced setting Open Dental experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Two weeks of paid time off per year Opportunities for professional growth and skill development Potential health insurance benefits after one year of employment Why Join Dentistry of Tavares?
