Dental Assistant - Herndon Smile Design PLLC - Herndon, VA

Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before and after appointments Take and process dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations) Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Update and maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and treatment plans Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish Support a smooth patient flow and maintain a clean, organized work environment Requirements (Dealbreakers): Minimum of 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience Fluent in Spanish (spoken communication required) Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting Preferred Qualifications: Dental Assistant certification or radiology certification (if applicable) Experience with dental software (Dentrix or similar systems) Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-care skills Schedule: Full-time position Monday–Friday (specific hours to be discussed) We are looking for a dependable, motivated team player who is passionate about patient care and can help create a positive experience for every patient.
