Private Practice is seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered, technology-forward practice in Sarasota County . Position Overview Weâre looking for a confident, detail-oriented and excellent with verbal skills dental assistant with strong chairside skills and hands-on experience with modern dental technologies. Ideal candidates should be familiar with: Intraoral scanning 3D printing workflows Eaglesoft software Digital radiography, imaging and photography protocols Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and assist during procedures Capture and process digital X-rays Perform intraoral scans and support digital workflows Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft Sterilize instruments and uphold infection control standards Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and team members and support a positive, efficient, and respectful clinical environment Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Certification in dental assisting Florida X-ray certification Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience Proven familiarity with dental procedures and patient care Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and materials Proficiency in Eaglesoft software Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Outstanding customer service and patient care abilities Good manual dexterity and ability to work efficiently in a clinical setting Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of dental assisting experience supporting cosmetic , implant and restorative procedures Comfortable managing digital dentistry tools and workflows Excellent customer service and communication skills What We Offer: Competitive hourly compensation Paid holidays and vacation (vacation eligibility after 1 year) Continuing education support A modern, well-equipped workspace A supportive team culture focused on growth, innovation, and patient satisfaction Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Continuing education credits Dental insurance Employee discount Opportunities for advancement Paid sick time Paid time off Paid training Professional development assistance Retirement plan Work Location: In person
