Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Plantation, FL

We are a friendly, patient-focused dental practice seeking a qualified EFDA Dental Assistant to work alongside and support our Dental Hygienist . This role is ideal for a dependable team player who enjoys clinical support, patient care, and working in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist the hygienist during patient care and clinical procedures Polish and perform EFDA duties as permitted by state law Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as needed Assist with charting, patient education, and treatment flow Maintain infection control and OSHA standards Provide excellent patient comfort and customer service Help maintain a smooth and efficient schedule Qualifications Current EFDA certification (required) Dental Assistant certification/licensure per state requirements X-ray certification (required) Prior dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Professional, positive, and patient-centered attitude Why join us?
