Dental Assistant – Part-Time / Per Diem (2 days per week) K&A Clinic, Philadelphia, PA, US Salary Range: $19.00 To $23.00 Hourly Esperanza Health Center – Philadelphia, PA Are you a skilled Dental Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of patients while working in a supportive, Christ-centered environment? Esperanza Health Center is seeking a part-time/per diem Dental Assistant to join our Dental Department, working 2 days per week . What You’ll Do Assist dentists and hygienists with chair-side support and patient care. Prepare operatories, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory. Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations. Provide administrative support such as scanning, patient calls, and chart management. Support patient education, engagement, and oral health promotion. Offer hope and comfort to patients through compassionate care and, when appropriate, prayer and scripture. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required ; completion of accredited dental assisting program preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Certified Dental Assistant preferred; DANB RHS exam required. Strong organizational, communication, and patient service skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven, diverse team environment. Flexibility to cover occasional evening or Saturday shifts. Why Esperanza?
