Dental Assistant LiveWell Dentistry 125 Towne Centre Blvd Ste 510 Wexford PA 15090 Full time position Monday-Thursday No evenings or weekends Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our modern, growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dentist in delivering exceptional patient care by providing chairside assistance and ensuring a clean and safe clinical environment. Duties Provide chairside assistance during restorative, endodontic and surgical procedures Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools Record vital signs and medical history accurately in electronic health records (EHR) system. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of equipment Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices Support the dental team in maintaining a safe clinical environment by adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines Skills Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during various dental procedures Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting Competence in medical documentation, medical records management, and medical coding processes Experience with dental radiography including X-ray techniques and 3D scanning technology Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
