ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT - Kapadia Orthodontics - Oviedo, FL

Our growing orthodontic practice is looking for a positive, motivated, and reliable orthodontic assistant to join our team. We are offering up to 35 hours per week for the position, Monday to Thursday. Skills and duties required, but not limited to, are: Taking X-rays (panoramic and cephalometric) Taking extraoral and intraoral photos Intraoral scans with iTero Taking impressions, pouring and trimming models Fabricating Essix retainers Orthodontic adjustment appointments including archwire changes, band fittings, preparation of teeth for bonding brackets, etc. Entering notes, charting teeth, and uploading images to Dolphin practice management software Reviewing care and oral hygiene instructions Communicating with patient and parents about treatment Operatory cleaning and disinfection Sterilization Required Experience: 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience Required Education: High School Diploma X-ray and CPR certifications EFDA To learn more about our practice, please visit our website at www.k-orthodontics.com Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 35 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
