About us We are looking Ideally for a Dental Assistant or a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant that is willing to be trained on the job training, with our pediatric dentistry team. Pay is negotiable depending on experience and willingness to learn. More pay is available if you already have a xray license. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist the pediatric dentist during examinations and dental procedures. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care. Manage patient records and update information accurately. Help with the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments. Provide a comforting presence to young patients, addressing their concerns and making their visit as stress-free as possible. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; (completion of a dental assisting program preferred.) Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with children and their families. For the right person, we can train you on what works!
