Dental Hygienist - Hammond Street Dental - Bangor, ME

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our dental team on a full/part time basis. This may lead to a permanent position. Message us if you have any questions. This role is essential in ensuring a positive experience for our patients while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and safety. Pay is competitive and will be discussed based on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations. Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth Take dental x-rays Assess patients' oral health (intra-oral pics, charting and periodontal probing) and provide appropriate treatment recommendations Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Document patient treatment records accurately in OpenDental Follow all infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
