Job Overview We are seeking a full time dental assistant to join our wonderful, growing office in the Summerlin area. Our office is a private practice with multiple doctors. We have great reviews and our team enjoys a wonderful work environment. Our office has been operating in Las Vegas since 2009 and we would really love to meet you and welcome you to our team. We offer most aspects of dentistry in our office including: orthodontics, endodontics, implants, and various surgical procedures. Pay is negotiable and really just depends on the experience/talent level of the applicant. We look forward to hearing from you! Responsibilities Be a fun, positive, and wonderful person! Bilingual (Spanish) would be a plus. Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental X-rays while adhering to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols. Maintain infection control standards by following OSHA guidelines and proper sterilization procedures. Assist with patient education regarding oral health care and post-treatment instructions using appropriate dental terminology. Support four-handed dentistry practices to improve efficiency during procedures. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic or general dentistry setting is preferred if possible.
