As a new office, your duties and tasks may go beyond the operatory so understanding the flexible nature of a startup practice is an absolute must! Detail-Focused: You maintain meticulous records, ensure strict infection control (OSHA/CDC Requirements), keep the operatory (and supply) stocked, etc. Eager to Grow: You are excited about providing top-notch clinical dentistry and staying updated with ever-changing dental technology and capabilities! Digital impressions, CBCT imaging, CAD/CAM technology, 3-D printing, guided surgery, etc. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities): Chairside Support: Assist dentist during a variety of dental procedures (restorative, endodontics, oral surgery, fixed prosthodontics, clear aligners, etc.) including chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques and cleaning/preparing operatories. Patient Experience: Help make every patient visit memorable and provide a "wow" experience! Welcome, prepare, and comfort patients and provide post-op instructions and oral hygiene instructions. Sterilization & Infection Control: Sterilize instruments, maintain infection control compliance protocols (water-line testing, shocking lines, etc.). X-Rays & Lab Tasks: Proficient in capturing radiographs (FMX, pano, CBCT) and perform basic lab duties (digital scans, CEREC familiarity, etc.). Supply Management: Monitor and order supplies to maintain inventory. Admin Support: Assist with scheduling patient appointments, coordinating lab cases, chart data accurately, manage patient flow, etc. Qualifications : Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures (including endodontics, oral surgery, clear aligners). Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, dental terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry Experience with X-rays, 3-D scanning (PrimeScan), and basic lab tasks Effective communication skills, organized, flexible, and excited about providing the best dental experience for patients!
