We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist looking for a new dental home to join our founding team and help set the clinical and cultural standards of our practice. Position Summary As a Registered Dental Hygienist at The Dental Edition, you will be a cornerstone of preventive and periodontal care. Your role is essential in promoting optimal oral health, educating patients, and fostering meaningful, long-term relationships. You will work closely with the dentist to support comprehensive treatment planning while delivering a calm, polished, and personalized hygiene experience. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and scaling and root planing as indicated Conduct thorough patient assessments, including periodontal charting, review of medical history, oral cancer screenings, and vital signs Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and lifestyle factors affecting oral health Capture digital dental radiographs in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards Perform intraoral scanning for every patient to support diagnostics, treatment planning, and documentation Accurately document clinical findings, treatment provided, and patient education in the electronic dental record- OpenDental.
