Overview Our modern, general dental practice in Annapolis is seeking a part-time (possibly full-time) Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a fee for service, patient centric office with the latest technology to support you and your work. Our office is small, with long-term employees and loyal patients who appreciate the work we perform. We are open Monday through Thursday, with no evening hours. We are seeking a skilled and caring dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients. As a dental hygienist, you will work closely with our dentist to deliver preventive and therapeutic dental treatments to patients of all ages. Proficiency in Eaglesoft is ideal but not necessary. We compensate with a daily rate of $540 or production based, whichever is more for each day. Our current hygienist regularly makes $750 or more in a day. We look forward to hearing from you! Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, and oral health evaluations Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans Take and develop medical imaging as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for documentation, charting, and record keeping Maintain infection control standards through aseptic technique and proper sterilization of instruments Review medical records and documentation for accuracy and completeness Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security Join our team to make a positive impact on patients’ oral health while advancing your career in a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in dental care.
