Registered Dental Hygienist - Cross Plains Dental - Cross Plains, WI

Cross Plains Dental is seeking a registered dental hygienist to join our team. Position would be for 2-3 days per week, Monday-Thursday (no Fridays or weekends). We are pretty flexible with scheduling and you could pick which days you would like to work. Responsibilities: Dental cleanings, sealants and fluoride Take dental x rays Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists Document patient care and treatment plans Room turnover and sterilization Help patients to maintain their oral health by preventing and treating periodontal disease and promoting good oral health Qualifications: Active dental hygiene license or eligibility for licensure (we encourage new graduates to apply) Current CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a friendly personality Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented Passionate about providing excellent care and improving patient experiences Proficient in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge Experience with general dentistry practices Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols Knowledge of Dentrix preferred, but will train Understanding of pediatric dentistry and endodontics Ability to perform vital signs monitoring and medical imaging Awareness of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards A little about our office - we are a small, family owned practice on the outskirts of Madison. We focus on patient care first and foremost. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Our summer hours are Monday-Wednesday 8:00 am-4:30-pm and Thursdays 7:00 am-1:00 pm. We are closed for a week over the 4th of July and the week between Christmas and New Year's. We have a very upbeat and fun atmosphere.
